For a personal touch you can choose the Wayside Chapel in a country setting . It is located on the picturesque Niagara Parkway - 14908 Niagara Parkway, half way between Niagara Falls and Niagara On The Lake. The Wayside Chapel is the only authentic Miniature Chapel of its kind in the entire Niagara area. There is nothing comparable to its photographic beauty. Many people from all over the world who have visited our chapel have their photos taken there, and sign the guest book as a remembrance of their visit. It is located just 10 minutes away from Niagara Falls, 5 minutes from the Victorian town of Niagara-On-The-Lake. It is also minutes away from the Butterfly Conservatory and the School of Horticulture with their splendid grounds for perfect wedding photos. Or, have your wedding at the gazebo in Niagara-On-The-Lake overlooking Lake Ontario and Old Fort Niagara. Originally built as a movie set for a Hollywood production, it is standing today where hundreds of couples have pledged their love to each other. Located 30 minutes from Niagara Falls in the historic Victorian village voted as Canada’s prettiest town. For rental information call 905-468-4261 and ask for Parks & Recreation. Rental fee for the gazebo is $141.25, which includes HST tax. This does not include the price of the ceremony. Other places you may want your wedding might be the Oakes Garden Theatre with both American and Canadian Falls in the background, or possibly the Queenston Chapel, half way between Niagara Falls and Niagara-On-The-Lake. The Botanical Gardens would also be a great location for a wedding. From parks to hotels, or even our home, the choice is yours.

The above four pictures are photos of the Oakes Garden Theatre. This park is the only park where you are allowed to have a wedding ceremony where the Falls can be seen. If you wish to be married at the Oakes Garden you must reserve and prepay a spot through the parks office. Note, the Niagara Parks Commission does not allow weddings directly besides the Falls. You can reserve a place at the Oakes Garden Theatre through the Niagara Parks Commission at 1-877-642-7275, extension 5239. This 800 number only works North America. The local phone number is 1-905-371-0239. The rental fee for the Oakes Garden Theatre is $325.00 CND, plus HST tax, totaling $367.25. With antiques from the past an old-fashion ceremony can be performed. Many have wonderful gardens and gazebos for out-of-door weddings. Here you can be creative and dress in yesterdays style.
